The links below provide access to DSL data clipped for each of the 13 states in the region. The data here duplicate data posted for the entire regional elsewhere on this site and are provided here for the convenience of organizations that work at the state and smaller scales. Not all the regional datasets are included here.

Land cover includes classes for transportation, development, terrestrial, and aquatic ecosystems and is key to understanding the other products. Documentation.
Index of Ecological Integrity (IEI) has grids based on rescaling IEI at four different spatial scales: region-wide (13 states), statewide, HUC6 watershed, and ecoregion. The IEI scores for each scale are relative to all other cells in the same ecosystem within the extent of the unit it falls within at that scale. For example with the HUC6 scaling the score compares each cell with all other cells within the same watershed and ecosystem. Two versions are provided for each of the spatial resalings: a single-color version and a 5-color version with just the top 50% of IEI. The 5-color version uses different color scales for forest (green), freshwater wetland/aquatic (blue), coastal wetland/aquatic (cyan), non-forested uplands (yellow), and coastal uplands (brown). Critical Linkages includes results for road-stream crossings, dams, and crossings on coldwater streams. Each road-stream crossing or dam is scored based on its potential to improve local aquatic connectivity through the restoration action, but only where it matters — in places where the current ecological integrity is not already seriously degraded too much. Landscape conservation design products. Elements include the terrestrial core network (both a geoTIFF and a shapefile with associated attributes), the aquatic core network, aquatic buffers, separate shapefiles of lotic and lentic cores from the aquatic core network, a geoTIFF of estimated probability of development for 2080, and estimates of local and regional vulnerability. Terrestrial cores and connectors are from DSL Phase 5 (2020), while aquatic cores and buffers, probability of devleopment and lentic and lotic cores are from DSL Phase 3 (2018). Vulnerability uses Phase 5 data except for probability of development, which is from Phase 3. 5.x is tied to updates released in 2020, primarily in landcover which then affected most other products.
